A spacious gîte for 12 with pool, patio and garden in a peaceful tiny village near Belvès in Dordogne. On the top of a hill it has magnificent views over the surrounding valleys, fields and woods, It is a typical perigordian barn of 250m², part of an 18th century group of buildings recently and carefully restored by their owners who live in another completely separate part.

Description for Gite

The cottage is situated in a quiet little hamlet of nine houses (Mas) on the town of Carver 5 km from Belvès in the Black Perigord. It is perched on a hill and offers views over the surrounding valleys and the medieval village of Belvès. It is housed in a barn of 250m ² of an old farm Perigourdine. It has been renovated using traditional materials and techniques. It can accommodate 12 people comfortably. The cottage is spacious and can accommodate families and friends without the "one another". On the ground floor: - a living / dining room of 70m ² with a traditional fireplace stone, TV, library and hifi - a fully equipped kitchen with stove, dishwasher, fridge / freezer, microwave oven, etc.. The living room opens through large windows onto a terrace of 75 m² facing south but protected from the sun by sails. A large wooden table and a barbecue are an ideal place for a relaxing meal. - One bedroom with 2 beds of 90cm with en-suite bathroom fitted to accommodate disabled guests. First floor: a wide corridor, which can serve as a playground and where a rocking horse carved wooden serving 4 bedrooms: 3 large bedrooms with family furniture and windows overlooking the valleys to the south. - 1 bedroom with 1 double bed 160 x 200, shower and toilet - a second bedroom with two single beds and two bunk beds, bathroom and WC - the third bedroom with its old bed Walnut (but all are new bedding and the highest quality) sharing a bathroom and toilet with the fourth bedroom has two beds and the children find books and games. - On request we can install a cot in a room. There is also an upstairs laundry room with washing machine, ironing board etc..
