Petiterose, La Rosière Holiday Rentals

On the southern foothills of the Vosges, where the high plateau of the mille-étangs ("thousand ponds") begins and the water flows towards the Mediterranean Sea, our historic farm, La Petite Rosière, is located in a secluded location.
Just above the commune of La Rosière, "La Petite Rosière" is located at the end of a small road. Apart from our own driveway, which leads through a large, covered gate to the farm, there is no traffic far and wide. Directly from the property, the landscape is open in all directions, be it for short walks and explorations on forest and meadow paths, or to set off on extended hikes. The farmhouse forms an ensemble with the old bakehouse and the small "tourelle". Opposite, an extensive orchard slopes gently down to the small bathing lake and its mighty rock. Behind it it goes into an enchanting deciduous forest, small paths lead past rocks, moss and old trees to viewpoints and places full of magic. Above the house, farm and lake, on the other side of the old donkey path that once connected the farm with the outside world, stretches the spring meadow. From the depths of these comes the water that supplies our house. And we now use part of the meadow to grow vegetables and potatoes. At the pond, at the edge of the forest, on the rocks, on the blooming natural meadows - surrounded by young and old beeches, oaks, birches, ash trees... - everywhere there are places that are made to get in touch with peace and nature.
