We are a British family offering holiday gite / cottage

For those who like fishing we have a small lake with carp. We are situated in the center of France known as the BERRY REGION, INDRE. Have lazy days by the splash pool or local lake beaches. There is walking paths, cycling, horseriding, vineyards, chateauxs, golf, museums, GEORGE SANDS Museum is celebrating the 100th birthday of CHOPIN near LA CHATRE. The town of LA CHATRE is just twenty minutes drive from our home.

There are larger towns CHATEAUROUX IS 30 MINS INTO THE TOWN CENTRE lots of shops, cafes. ISSOUDUN is twenty mins drive, the nearest village is ST.AOUT AND AMBRAULT which has bakery, pharmarcy, butchers and tabac shop. LIGNIERIES hosts a hippodrome for horse events throughout the year, dressage, national championships this is 15 mins drive from our home.

We are 20mins drive from the motorway A20 exit 12 ideal for those travelling to the south of France or spain.

Our GITE/ COTTAGE can sleep two to eight people there are two bathrooms with wc, kitchen with cooker & hob, fridge/ freezer, sink, lounge area, two seperate bedrooms and sofa bed in the lounge, ample parking, spacious garden, eating al fresco, barbecue, very quiet area and relaxing.
