This bed and breakfast has been carefully renovated to preserve its authentic, rustic character and charm, without compromising the need for modern comfort in all the accomodations. Breathtaking view over Ventoux Mount. Comfortable self-catering accommodations. Lots of tourism and visits in Provence. Beautiful landscapes and lavender fields in the Luberon area. These accommodations are located near Avignon, Chateauneuf du Pape. Tour the wine route with us and enjoy unforgettable wine tasting of Cotes du Rhone wines. http://www.wine-tasting-provence.frThe very fast TGV train reaches Avignon from Paris in only 2h40 mn and from CDG airport in 3h. Bed Breakfast Avignon.
The Mas is surrounded entirely by Cotes du Rhone vineyards and is remarkably peaceful and secluded. The owners, Charles and Andrée Barail, both speak excellent English. They occupy the main house, and there are two self-contained studio apartments and two separate, larger two bed roomed apartments available for guests. All four guest apartments have private WC, shower, and kitchen facilities.

"If Charles & Andrée Barail's B&B in a 17th-century stone mas surrounded by unruly flowerbeds, lawns, and gravel terraces shaded by mature trees isn't your Provencal rural fantasy come to life, then you've got the wrong picture." © Condé Nast Traveler

Directions
Please note that in order to protect the privacy of our guests, we have deliberately chosen not to signpost the Mas at the entrance of our driveway.
Coming from the A7 motorway, take the Orange Sud exit ( # 22) and follow the signs for Avignon. Then turn left on the D 950 road to Vaison-la-Romaine & Carpentras. Ignore the first sign for Jonquières and continue on D 950. Then, arriving to a roundabout, follow the Jonquières sign and before entering the village itself, turn right into the driveway of the Mas,"Chemin de l'Escarrat". This is directly after having passed the Sotalis company. (exactly 1 km after the roundabout)
If you are coming from Orange, pass through the village of Jonquières towards Carpentras (Avenue de la Libération). Nearly at the village exit, turn left into a driveway bordered by the walls of the Sotalis company . At the entrance of the road you'll see a "dead end road sign". You will find the Mas approximately 400 metres along the driveway.
