With its 700 hectares, la Barthelasse is Europe's largest river island, and features many quiet lanes where to enjoy pleasant walks and rides. The island has remained agricultural, producing mainly early fruits and vegetables - you will no doubt want to enjoy season fruit bought direct from the island's farms: cherries, peaches, apricots, apples, pears, etc..



But also surrounding Provence with its many unique sights, such as the Pont du Gard, Nîmes, Arles, Orange, Vaison-la-Romaine, the Alpilles range, les Baux-de-Provence, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, the Luberon mountain, Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, Châteauneuf du-Pape, Camargue, and so on.
