At the top of a hill in the middle of a natural park Livradois-Forez - the Toscana of the Auvergne - the small farm, which dates back to the 18th century is a place for everyone- either to relax or to participate in the many activities available.The house is surrounded by a garden and a field, used for haymaking, which leads into a nearby wood. A descending path will take you to the village in Vertolaye.
Be it winter or summer La Faye offers different walks in the surrounding forests
The lounge is very large and comfortable.
When the weather allows we eat either in the garden or in the covered yard, Table d'Hôte is 3 times a week

Each room is equipped with a washbowl, shower and toilet
Games and books, literature showing everything going on in the area is available.
Accès internet via ADSL WIFI
In the garden there is also a Jacuzzi.
Facilities for swimming, paragliding, hang gliding, horse riding, mountain climbing, obstacle courses from tree to tree, rafting, canoeing, 3 ski resorts for alpine, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing

Vertolaye is situated between Thiers and Ambert
Comming from Thiers after Olliergues youll see the indication Vertolaye. A little bit further at your left youll have the junction with the indication Vertolaye Centre.
Dont take the road to the centre. +/- 50 metres further between 2 houses there is a little road on your left with the indication La Faye.
Take that road, that climbs a lot.
Youll arrive at a crossroad T , here you turn to the right and then you split off on the left , there is an indicator La Faye.
This part of the road even climbs a lot more.
Nearly at the top youll have on your right a little farm, with a cross, the house at the left with a small front yard is the place to be.
The house is recognizable on the glass logo.
