La Souvigne is a typically old Correzian stone built cottage (3 épis Gîtes de France ). It's in a quiet location at the edge of the village. Excellent value for money. Converted from B&B to furnished holiday home and redecorated in 2015, it has a comfortable sitting room, with Zed bed French Satellite TV and DVD player. Well equipped kitchen. Bed linen & towels provided free of charge.Description for Gite
\La Souvigne (3 wheatsheafs Gîtes de France) is an old stone built little house in the upper part of the village, in a quiet corner, not far from the village church. Well restored to be a B&B which we ran there for 20 years. In 2015 we converted into a Gite (furnished holiday home) available by the week in the high season and more flexible at other times. We are well places not too far from major N/S (A20) and E/W (A89) motorways. The two cosy rooms, one with huge double bed and the other with two singles both have private sanitation and we provide towels and bed linen free of charge. There's a zedbed in the sitting room, as well as a modern flat screen TV with French satellite decoder and DVD player. WiFi is available throughout the house.Once or twice a week, if you don't feel like cooking or eating out, we can prepare some dishes for you to reheat. Have a look at our website for details.

Nous sommes venus à 3 reprises à La Souvigne en quelques années et, à chaque fois, nous la retrouvons comme une vieille amie que l'on revoit avec plaisir et émotion.Jacquie et Ian sont toujours aussi accueillants et leurs chambres plaisantes. Quant au repas, quel bonheur de déguster mets et vins de qualité tout en discutant avec des gens passionnés (ne parlons pas du prix, c'est juste incroyable!!).Nous reviendrons avec infiniment de bonheur, bien sûr!!!!Nous les remercions de tout coeur.

Directions
Our GPS co-ordinates are N 45°09’20" E 01°52’17". We have created detailed itineraries - complete with photos, from all major directions, and they are available on the web site. Forgès is on the D1120, (old N120) between Tulle and Argentat, not far (abt 3 kms north) from the junction with the D921 (old N121) which links Brive and Argentat. From the south go via Argentat, in the Tulle direction and from the North go via Tulle following signs for Aurillac.
