In the country of the olive and the lavender, « les Mirabelles » offers peaceful, self contained accomodation, well sheltered from the Mistal in the heart of a Drôme Provençale village.

The Garden in the Village
The « Petit mas » are built along traditional lines which ensure coolness in summer and warmth in winter. They are set amongst the peaceful shade of olive and cypress trees yet are within a very short walking distance of village amenities (grocer, bakers, bars, restaurants, pharmacy)
Mirabel aux Baronnies privileged location on the southern border of the Drôme Provençale, its closeness to Nyons, the country of the olive and the lavender, and to Vaison la Romaine with its archaeological sites and summer festival have given this small village a unique liveliness.
It is also an ideal base from which to explore the region. Nyons is 6 km away (3,5 miles) Vaison 7 km away (4 miles) and the summit of Mont Ventoux with its skiing facilities is half an hour drive away. There are numerous footpaths and sign posted cycling circuits, as well as golf courses. Most villages and towns offer weekly provençal markets and, in the summer, there are a number of festivals (Avignon, Orange, Carpentras, Vaison la Romaine..)



Les Mirabelles” offers a private leisure centre amongst olive and cherry trees. There you can enjoy a large and heated swimming pool (7m x 14 m) bathed in sunlight, deckchairs, a tennis court, a boules area, a giant outdoor chess set and a drink under the pergola. (this area has been purposely designed away from the houses to preserve their peaceful atmosphere)
