It will take about 4-5 hours by car if you are travelling from the ferry ports of Caen, Cherbourg, St Malo or Roscoff and 6-7 hours from Calais and Boulogne.
Try http://www.viamichelin.co.uk/viamichelin/gbr/tpl/hme/MaHomePage.htm for a route planner. Be careful to choose Boussais, Deux-Sevres (79600), as with most French villages there are many with the same name.
If coming from Saumur, Poitiers direction - when you arrive at the village take the first road on the left (Rue de la Daviere) and then the first road on the right (Rue des Tilleuls) and the house is in front of you on the left hand side.
If coming from Nantes, Bressuire direction - in the village, pass the square with the mairie and bar/restaurant and after the church take the first road on the right (Rue de la Daviere) and then the next right (Rue des Tilleuls) and the house is in front of you on the left.
Park at the side of the house.
