The Old Bakery lies in 1 acre of grounds on the edge of the pretty Breton village of Langourla, just 15 minutes drive to the medieval town of Jugon les Lacs. The main house has 4 double & 1 Twin Bedroom all with private facilities and there is a 2 bedroom fully equipped Gite/Cottage for the longer independent stays. A welcome drink is provided free of charge on your arrival to help you settle in.A variety of menus for traditional relaxed evening dining are provided should you wish to dine in. All we ask is for 24hours notice to ensure the finest local ingredients can be procured for your table. Gourmet breaks makes the ultimate stay & dining experience one to be savoured and can be booked for a minimum of 4 guests. Wine beer and cider can also be purchasedFor day trips we can also supply a packed lunch, again please supply us with 24hours notice..Langourla is a quiet village with its own lake situated in rolling countryside with woodland nearby. It has essential shops, 2 Bars, and a beautiful church and makes the ideal setting for your holiday.The village of Langourla is only 1 hour by car from St Malo, 40 minutes from Rennes Airport and 35 minutes from the stunning sandy beaches and harbours of baie de St Brieuc.Langourla is ideally place to explore Cotes dArmor, Ille et Vilaine and Morbihan Within easy reach is the beautiful coastline from Val-Andre up to Cap Fréhel, changing from vast sandy beaches to the more rugged coastline within a few kilometres. There are many lakes in the area offering fishing, boating & bird watching. The area offers many walks suitable for all, ranging from short walks to the more demanding for the enthusiast. & is also very popular with cyclists.Langourla has a Jazz Festival that takes place each summer by the lake, and the medieval town of Montcontour is close by with its bi-annual medieval fete.Description for Gite
The CottageThe self catering cottage, Gite, is located alongside the main house and is fully equipped for a comfortable and independent stay. The Gite accommodates 4 people in two bedrooms, one a twin and one a double. A toilet is located upstairs and as well as a toilet and shower downstairs. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, gas hob and oven, microwave, washing machine.The sitting area is suitably furnished for a restful stay with TV and Satellite.Private parking and a BBQ area for outside dining are included to ensure your stay is both private and comfortable.For your convenience we provide all bed linen and towels. Directions to La Vieille BoulangerieFrom the port at St Malo:Follow the signs for Toutes Directions - heading towards Rennes. Join the N176 heading west towards St Brieuc and Dinan. Stay on this road until you pass Dinan and then turn off for Caulnes and Broons on to the D766. After about 1-2 kilometers this road becomes the D793 - at the roundabout take the road to Broons. (D793)From Dinard Airport Take the D766 which then merges on to the N176 Join the N176 heading west towards St Brieuc and Dinan. Stay on this road until you pass Dinan and turn off for Caulnes and Broons on the D766. After about 1-2 kilometers this road becomes the D793 and at the roundabout take the road to Broons. (D793)Once you arrive in Broons, go straight through the centre and bear left after the church in the centre of Broons towards Ereac (D793)In Ereac take the second exit at the roundabout as you enter the village, heading on the D46 to Langourla (La Poste should be on your right and the Pharmacie on your left)After about 4 kilometres you will see a small concrete signpost on the left hand side of the road pointing right to Rouillac. Ignore this. Almost immediately after you will see another post, this time on the right hand side of the road, pointing left to Langourla. Take this road and follow it to the crossroads in the village (big church on your right, shop and bar/tabac in front) Go straight over the crossroads, past the pink closed Boulangerie on the left and we are about 300 meters further on, on the right.
If you miss the small concrete sign post keep going until you reach a right hand bend Turn left here and after a short distance you will see the big church on your left. Turn right by the shop and bar/ tabac and we are about 300 meters further on, on the right.
