In the heart of the picturesque village of Andlau, on the wine trail, a superb 16th century half-timbered house, typically Alsatian. Inside, the magnificent 'kachelofe' (pottery stove) dominates the living room and heats the whole house. Old Alsatian furniture, ornaments and artefacts, scents and colours create an enchanting ambiance. Comfortable rooms, simply yet stylishly decorated with attention to the smallest detail. We have travelled a lot and have never enjoyed a place as we have at Le Temps des Choses. This is a veritable museum! The owner is charming, kind, and helpful. The breakfasts are like no other. The place is an absolute joy. We recommend it to all those, who like the finer things in life.
