Enjoy an unforgettable holiday in Brittany, in the heart of the Bay of Audierne in our guesthouse Menez Reun.
Enjoy unique situation, nestled between sea and nature, along with all the modern comfort of a home renovated in 2015.
Bathed in light, the house opens onto a large terrace facing south, above the treetops, where you will enjoy the view, the sun, the spa pool, or a dinner from the plancha.
With your family or your friends, the house of 175 sq meters can accommodate up to 6 adults and 4 children. Two bedrooms with double beds (160×200), a spare bedroom with double bed (140×190), a large room with four single beds (90×200) and three bathrooms (three showers including two Italian ones, and one bath).
The large living room looking onto the terrace has a lounge with fireplace and a dining room. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped with a triple induction hob, an oven, a dishwasher, a large refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee machine. Everything is planned to make your stay comfortable, including WiFi, TV, washing machine and dryer.
Between land and sea
Open to the waves of the Atlantic, the Baie d’Audierne stretches in a long arc spanning from the pointe du Raz in the North to Penmarc’h in the South, and offers a great variety of landscapes. Cliffs in the Northern part, sandy beaches and rocks along Plouhinec and Plozevet, and sand dunes in the South. The natural diversity is such that it has favored the emergence of a exceptional fauna and flora. Behind the dunes, ponds and reedbeds are ome to more than 300 bird species.
Menez Reun is in the wildest part of the Baie d’Audierne, in the heart of the Pays Bigouden. There, you will enjoy a great variety of landscapes and activities, and discover the gastronomy and local products from the sea: Seafood, Guilvinec langoustines, oysters, lobsters and great fish.
By the sea
Menez Reun is located within 3km of a long sandy beach that stretches over 9 km, from Penhors in the North to La Torche in the South.

Countryside
More than 500km of hiking, biking, riding, and cycling path awaits you in the Baie d’Audierne, with a wide range of natural landscapes. The hiking trail GR 34, known as the “chemin des douaniers”, will take you from Douarnenez to the Pointe de Penmarc’h along the sea, passing by the many cliffs, beaches and lighthouses. Along this trail, you will discover georgeous places and among the most beautiful panoramas of Brittany.
Reun Menez is on the edge of a protected natural area. Just behind the shingle and dunes, the ponds of Kergalan, Trunvel and San Vio are havens for birds, and are a key bird migration zones. If you like horseriding, gallop along the sandy beach with the local riding club that offers horse riding for all riding levels. If you like the open sea instead, the Glenan Islands and the island of Sein are a stone’s throw from Menez Reun.
Local heritage
The Pays Bigouden has a rich heritage and a unique history that you can discover at the Musée Bigouden in Pont l’Abbé or in the Musée Breton in Quimper. Many chapels, dolmen and menhir await you along the sea and in the countryside. Quimper is 25 km away from Menez Reun, with cathedral, its lovely townhouses, its old streets and places.
