The building is 15 minutes walk from the train station, 15 minutes from the cathedral and 10 minutes from Place Kléber (central square of Strasbourg). A shopping center, housing a hundred shops, known as "La Place des Halles" is a 10 minute walk. A pier for the visit by boat in front of the Palais des Rohan in fifteen minutes walk from the cottage.
