Manor Bellacordelle is built on the hills of a charming village watered by the Crinchon, 9km Arras, cultural city that houses the French favorite monument of 2015, namely the Belfry, and the monumental Heroes' Square and the Grand Place. You will find many restaurants and activities in town, including the famous Main Square Festival takes place this year 12 and 3 July.You can however enjoy the quiet, authenticity and grace of the premises. Birdsong and well flowered park are a delight that ensure a more complete change of scenery.
You are also at the heart of memory with paths near the Canadian Vimy Memorial, the national necropolis of Notre-Dame-de-Lorette, Or the Louvre-Lens. With local hiking trails, mountain biking (over 30 km signposted) and also the Memory Vélo-route on a 17 km route which allows to discover the local heritage differently (only accessible to pedestrians, cyclists, rollerbladers) . A wonderful best kept secret!
So pleased we stumbled across this gem of a place.
Our hosts, Xavier and Dorothy where so accommodating, clearly wanting our stay to be as pleasurable as possible....even though we only stayed one night, however rest assured we will be back!! In those few short hours we were made to feel totally at home and like life long friends!
The accommodation is first class, clean and has a relaxing ambiance. We were welcomed on our arrival with drinks on the patio in the beautiful gardens, and following a restful night's sleep where treated to a wholesome and delicious breakfast, with the breakfast table adorned with flowers and rose petals, plus of course a range mouth watering food.
Be sure not to miss this little gem.
