You”ll visit the new cave du Pont d'Arc. The first artists in the history of humanity have painted a masterpice of horses, lions, rhinos and captured them in action of running and fighting.
36000 years later, scientists and artists accomplished a unique feat in the world by reconstructing the Chauvet-Pont d'arc cave.

Highway A7 till Montelimar north, afterwards choose Le Teil, Aubenas
at the crossing Lavilledieu turn left “Vallon Pont d'Arc”.
Before coming into Vallon drive right “Barjac” then drive over the pont de l'Ardèche
2 km afterwards drive left Labastide de Virac
Arriving in the small village follow the road till the town hall ;
Slow and drive a small rising road chemin des Combalets, with “a red panel snack” then drive left Chemin de Cougoussa you”ll find on, in front of Nr 233, a painted portal in blue and wooden color ; you're arrived !
at the crossing Lavilledieu turn left “Vallon Pont d'Arc”.
