Originally built in 1680,this farmhouse offers something a little different in terms of catered chalet accommodation . La Ferme du Chateau offers its guests the best of the traditional alongside the benefits of modern comfort. Situated in the centre of the beautiful old farming village of La Chapelle d'Abondance it is convenient for all the activities in the area plus the bars, shops & restaurants.

5 Star Quality Accommodation at an affordable price

La Ferme du Chateau has 6 ensuite bedrooms, all of which can be twin or king-size double rooms, and most can easily accommodate additional beds without compromising on comfort up to a maximum capacity of 18. All of the bedrooms are furnished to a high standard with 5* hotel quality beds, Egyptian cotton linen, luxury toiletries, fluffy dressing gowns, hairdryers, ipod docking stations and all have access to a south facing balcony, 1 bedroom having its own private balcony. There is also a sunken hot tub on the lower balcony offering the perfect treat after a days activity.

The living and dining area is exceptionally spacious with a central wood clad open fire. There are six large sofas in which to relax, a TV area on the minstrel gallery, cosy reading snug, dining area and a separate south facing balcony. This living area offers plenty of room to chill out and enjoy an aperitif or two!

Good Food & Wine

The spaciousness and comfort of the farmhouse is only part of the total experience of a Savoie Faire Holiday; this combined with excellent food, wine and unobtrusive service is fundamental to our success. During the winter we offer a cooked English breakfast and afternoon tea every day and a 4 course evening meal with wine on 6 nights we let you escape to sample the local restaurants on one evening there is also an option for early childrens supper.

Excellent Service

As an owner run chalet you can be sure that we try our utmost to ensure you have the holiday you want. From the moment you arrive at Geneva we will take care of everything for you, ski hire will be waiting at the shop on arrival, ski passes and refreshments waiting at the chalet, pick up and drop off each day from the slopes, transport to various apres ski bars, organise a trip to the thermal centre, lessons etc etc ...


Flexibility

During the winter the farmhouse is available on a catered basis for holidays and breaks of 3 or more days. During the summer the farmhouse is available on a self-catered, B&B and half board basis (breakfast, tea & 3 course evening meal with wine).

Special Events

La Ferme du Chateau also lends itself perfectly to accommodating and catering for weddings, milestone birthdays, and corporate events such as management training courses, senior management meetings, and team building exercises.
