Come and discover why the Morbihan is classed as one of the most important natural and archeological sites.
Visit the presqu'île de Rhuys with its beaches to one side and the Gulfe du Morbihan on the other. You can take a boat trip from Port Navalo, out to the islands of Houat, Hoedic or Belle Isle or a tour of the Gulf to visit some of it's many islands. For sailing fans Port Crouesty is only 20 minutes away.
The castle ‘Chateau de Suscinio', (15 mins) hunting residence of the Dukes of Brittany, with it's beach, Saint Gildas with it's abbey where Abélard stayed are also not far away. Without forgetting Vannes, (15 mins) a medieval town of art and history.
The town of Muzillac a little further south (20 mins) offers wonderful walks, Ambon and Damgan their beaches, the little fishing port of Billiers, the barrage of Arzal, the old town and sailing port of La Roche Bernard and not forgetting the younger members of the family there is the botanic park and zoo of Branféré founded by Nicolas Hulot.
