Sixt Fer à Cheval, a village near the villages of Samoens, Morillon, Verchaix. . Is part of the Valley High Giffre, in the Alps.
This valley, located halfway between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc offers many riches.
50 km from Geneva, access is facilitated by the A40 up to Annemasse and Cluses.
Must first come to Sixt Fer à Cheval:
From Geneva Cointrin Airport, train station
From Lyon: Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport, train station
Since Annecy train station
then by road : Motorway A40 towards Chamonix (Exit Cluses towards Morillon Samoens), take the main road D4, then to Samoens take the main road D907 in the direction of Sixt Fer à Cheval. After a great plain, the plain of Vallon, cross a small hamlet, Perret (three or four houses), then after a few turns, a small road goes to the left, in front of a chapel, take the road towards Mount and go right at the end of this road.
You will cross a small village, Balme top and a beautiful forest and you arrive at Mount.
