The LOIRE valley, its castles, its wines, and its river now on the Unesco's heritage sites list !
You will love discovering its beauties ... and its wines !
Why not stay in Tours, at the centre of everything ? Lively place, lots of shops and restaurants, and with historical and architectural sites to admire!
You can go and visit TOURS on foot from our place, you will love crossing the river on the bridge only for pedestrians and cyclists, the famous "Pont de fil" (suspended bridge); quite an experience at dawn or sunset in particular ! Shops, restaurants, cathedral, "the old Tours" ten ' away on foot, station 20 mns away on foot. (If you have some heavy luggage, we will provide transport.)
Our small but very comfy flat will enable to discover Tours as well as the touristic places around. We live nearby and can advise off-tracks places, walking trails, wine-cellars...
The flat is at the basement level of a very old house, made of Tuffeau, with beams, facing south.You will enjoy your private terrace in the yard . The kitchen is separated from the Bedroom/living room. The convertible sofa ( 2016)is very good quality, and when folded, the space left will enable you to dance if you want to the hi-fi's sound ( your I-pod music will fit into the I-pod deck) .
Bed linen, towels and teatowels are an option, six euros per person per stay.
The bathroom will match all your requirements, and the fitted kitchen is well equipped. Babies and young children are welcome, bed, chair, crockery provided
You can connect to the internet, and a mobile phone is provided if necessary. cable TV (with foreign channels as well as French ones) A huge car park, the bus stop, the shops, cafés and restaurants are only 1 mn away. Nice historical neighbourhood, by the Loire, with the "Loire à vélo" cycle track . If you prefer jogging or juste relaxing on a lawn a nice large park by the riverside (tennis grounds too) awaits you.
If possible we will welcome you and share a glass of one of the very famous local wines, the VOUVRAY (sparkling wine from 5 km away ) maybe you will be able to enjoy a jacuzzi in our place too ! ( if we are around)
Bikes available (free) for touring the city only.
everything is available, independant place, except for the yard common to various tenants. You have access toa specific place for bikes and garden furniture, and also to the washing machine .

A jacuzzi is also available at my place ( small fee) the opportunity for you to relax and also to chat with us !only if we are around and available !

Very interesting historical environment. Old houses from the middle ages, little lanes, troglodyte houses and caves (including your house!).Plus the church, the area is like a little village ! Grocer, baker, butcher, newsagent's, bus stop, and the lovely footbridge to cross the LOIRE !

Direct bus number 17 to and from the station/town centre. Tramway 12'walk can also get you to city centre and station.
You can walk to/from station too. If available , I can also pick you up at the bus/train station or tram stop, or airport
