Description for Gite

La Minotais is situated in a valley on the edge of the river « La Rance ».
Plouër sur Rance is a village with typical breton charm.
Our stone built farm has been converted into three comfortable holiday houses though still retaining the original style of the 18th century.
It is a perfect base to discover all that the region of the Côte d’Emeraude has to offer.
The countryside around Plouër is perfect for cycling and close by there is also horse riding available.
The marina is a few minutes walk away, there, the sailing club offers, sailing, kayak and canoeing.
In this part of Brittany there is a rich cultural tradition : museums, galleries, concerts ,"Fest Noz" and antique markets.


There are 20 km of wonderful walks along the estuary of the Ranke. In 15 min by car you reach beautiful sandy beaches ,or discover interesting historical places like : St.Malo,
the “cité des corsairs».
The medieval town of Dinan and the well-known seaside resort of Dinard…..
Within 25 min you are in Cancale with its huge bay where oysters and mussels are cultivated, nice restaurants invite you in for a “degustation”.
It takes 30 min to reach what they call the 8th wonder of the world, the majestic Mont St.Michel.
