It is a renovated farm with healthy materials, ecological and traditional (hemp, wood wool, massive timbers, roofing slate and larch countries), with the minimum of comfort with its own heating and solar electricity. we have small private rooms, a dormitory for 6 people and a collective suite rooms. Upstairs you will find the large living / dining room with its exposed beams and a wood burning stove!We offer stays of one to several nights half boardFor information fresh products are delivered on men's backs 2-3 times a week as needed!
This isolated site is located 300m from the gates of the Ecrins National Park, in the heart of the pasture with stunning views of the surrounding glaciers, guaranteed change of scenery during a breakfast terrace with marmots 5m! .. .

Belle découverte
Après une randonnée dans le toujours aussi bel alpage de Villar d'Arène dimanche 3 aout, nous avons été charmés par ce tout nouveau refuge. Le repas a été excellent, avec un accueil très chaleureux et une chambre familiale pour 4 parfaite pour un couple avec 2 enfants.

Directions
Join the hamlet "Pied du col" between Villar Arêne and Col du Lautaret, then take the direction of the house "pas de l'âne" at the end of the road, then take the vehicle track on the 1.5km away final parking. Here you trade your worries, your laptop and your iphone against walking shoes, backpack and sticks for a good hour's walk on the GR54 to the Col d'Arsine and lake. After 50min mounted, you go to a ledge where you see the chalets of "le plan de l'Alpe" you join in 15 minutes flat!
