This ancient manor, founded by the de Launcells family following the Norman Conquest, lies in its own sheltered and secluded valley over the hill from the old Market Town of Crediton, and close to the village of Sandford.Combe Lancey is a working farm with sheep and cattle and is approached through its 150 acres of meadows by either of its own private roads. It is situated some half a mile walking distance from Crediton and nearby is the pretty village of Sandford with its delightful old Pubs. The exceptional landscape of Dartmoor National Park is readily accessible and the historical Cathedral City of Exeter is within easy reach.
The beamed accommodation is within the cob and timbered Linhay which forms part of the Listed 15th Century thatched Farmhouse. It offers views of the valley over the formal gardens and the orchard. Both en-suite rooms together with the separate Breakfast Room, provide complete privacy in comfortable surroundings.

Leave Crediton, at the bottom of the hill, at Creedy Park lodge gate; take the left road to Morchard Bishop.
At approx. 400 yards up this road at the top of the hill take the sharp left lane marked Public Footpath/Combe Lancey.
Follow the lane to the bottom of the valley and turn right into the courtyard
From Tiverton enter Crediton after the turn off left to Lord’s Leisure Centre and Industrial Estate turn first right to Sandford.
Leave Crediton, at the bottom of the hill, at Creedy Park lodge gate; take the left road to Morchard Bishop.
At approx. 400 yards up this road at the top of the hill take the sharp left lane marked Public Footpath/Combe Lancey.
